If you need to shoot a scene right out of “Doctor Zhivago” then Austria is the place to go!

This year, in winter, Austria was hit with an excessive amount of snow that will not be melting anytime soon.

While the ski slopes have never been better, most local citizens where challenged by the excessive amount of snow. Whole streets had to be closed and many valleys where blocked off from civilization.

As winter continued the weather finally settled, yet the fluffy white snow still remains.

Therefore, if you plan on shooting a winter scene this April, Mai or even June then Austria is the place to be!
