Good news: Travelling to Austria is now permitted from 32 countries without the need for any special precautions! This means that individuals from these countries are allowed to travel to Austria without submitting a negative molecular-biological test for SARS-CoV-2 or entering a two-week quarantine period. Click here to read more about the specifics.

But what about crews from the U.S. and many other countries whose citizens still cannot travel to Austria freely?

Through our correspondence with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, we were able to find out that exemptions are possible for individuals traveling for business reasons.

For entering Austria you need:

- a written statement from the production company in your country of origin, which says that you are traveling for business purposes.

- a written statement by your Austrian fixer/service production company, which confirms that both companies are in a business relationship.

- a negative molecular-biological test for SARS-CoV-2 (either in German or English) not older than four days.
